At Swarovski, it’s all about architecture and light for rooms in its most beautiful form, intelligently interspersed with crystal. The new presentation also comprises a multi-media staging based around light and architecture with a sophisticated design, simple navigation and LCD resolution. The theme of architecture is played out in the form of transparencies and transparent paper as well as with high quality architectonic photos, images and animations. The highlights, drawn from referential material and projects, grow out of a ‘crystal project’ in the form of individual luminous and reflective crystals and are augmented by videos in some cases. A homage to light, reflection and crystal is exhibited in a wide variety of designs, along with background information, by the Frozen Icebar in Lech, the Crystal Ship on the Danube, the Aurum Restaurant in Tokyo and the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart, to name just a few of the highlights.
